with Andres Bonifacio

If
I would be given a chance to meet and talk with a historical person, it would
be Andres Bonifacio. It is because I wanted to ask him all about his advocacy
in founding the Katipunan and how really hard life is when the Spaniards came
to the Philippines.
Me: Hello everyone! I’ am Rain Anne S. Mojica and
I will have an interview with our very own Mr. Andres Bonifacio. He is a
Filipino revolutionary and the founder of the Katipunan.
Mr. Bonifacio: Thank you, Rain. I’ am very much
pleased to be here with everyone today.
Me: Thank you too, Mr. Bonifacio for accepting my
interview request. Now, let’s start, shall we? First, what is your advocacy in
founding the Katipunan?
Mr. Bonifacio: My advocacy in founding the Katipunan
is to seek independence from Spain through armed revolt. I have also believed
from the beginning that there is hope and that is why my pseudonym is “May
Pag-asa”
Me: That was quite a deep answer Mr. Bonifacio.
Now, will you tell us how hard life is when the Spaniards came to our country?
Mr. Bonifacio: It was very hard. But it really got
messed up when they started to discover about the Katipunan. Many people were
killed, imprisoned and starved. During those times, we lack armed forces. But
fortunately, in the end, we are able to achieve independence.
Me: That’s true. But unfortunately, we have to end
the interview now. Thank you very much, Mr. Bonifacio for sharing those
important details to us.
Mr. Bonifacio: You are very welcome. Goodbye
everyone!
Me: Goodbye!
